First, a tree needs time to take root before it can bear fruit. The first eight months of Making Lemonade were my “rooting months”—discovering myself, expressing myself, and finding my center. You can find those blog posts at the bottom of this page. They contain many thoughts and feelings, and the approach draws primarily from the 12-step program and therapy. There are many useful lessons here, both for myself and for others. If you’re recovering from addiction and/or trauma, or if you’re searching for your way in the world, you'll find lots of experience, strength and hope here.

The second part—which you can find at the top—is more positive and gentle, focusing less on the turbulent emotions of daily life. What are the concrete actions I take every day to care for myself as best as I can, so I can continue to see the beauty in life? The goal is to inspire, to plant seeds of love out into the world. So that when they sprout and grow, they can bear ripe, delicious fruit for others to harvest. That way, we can enjoy what life is and what it has to offer together, regardless of what it has brought us in the past.

At the very bottom, you'll also find a few series—that is, blog posts that go together.

I wish you much reading pleasure, inspiration, and above all, a lot of love and happiness.

Warm regards,
Nathalie
